Este es el mejor ejemplo de comida regional más auténtica de México en toda Europa. This is the best example of authentic regional Mexican food in all of Europe. I’m not kidding. I’ve tried Mexican food half a dozen times outside of North America and it always ends in disappointment—except here. Omg. This is exactly like popping into a hole in the wall in Oaxaca—which is probably because the effusive owner is from Oaxaca herself and brings all the flavor and tradition of her home region in Mexico to Budapest as she makes everything on the menu totally from scratch. I kid you not. This is better than Mexican food in the US. I’m jealous of Budapest. I ate here twice in three days because I couldn’t get enough. My first visit, I chose the enchiladas de mole. The rich, nutty, chocolatey sauce covering the three enchiladas wrapped in homemade tortillas was decadent and perfectly balanced, with juicy chicken inside. The beans were rich and flavorful. The white rice that comes by default is a little plain but it works as a foil to the richness of flavor of the other ingredients. My second visit, I ordered the huevos divorciados, one of my favorite Mexican breakfasts (ubiquitous in Mex

Saturday lunch, not busy. We were four of us. Had to wait around 30-35 min fpr four dishes. At least two of them were basically tasteless. The owner is very kind, but mostly alone. Simply not enough. I hope they will catch up. But for now, not good.

I could go on and on, but hands down, and simply put, this is the best Mexican food in all of Hungary. Fantastic! I could not have been happier. I recommend the mole enchiladas. It is one of my favorite dishes, and this was one was delicioso.
