Bad choice unfortunately. Flodni we received was old and dried out, not eatable. They want to sell old stuff to tourists. Hoszu kave should be lungo, i.e. bigger espresso, but I received americano, which is just a brown water and finally, we found pieces if some plastics (!!!) in a strawberry ice cream. Avoid this place.

Randomly found this pastry shop on google maps, the cakes were really good, very delicious. The place is clearly very local, not at all touristy. workers are nice they tried to communicate with us in english.

I randomly chose this place to meet up with a friend of mine and it turned out that this is one of the best confectionery stores in Budapest. They have a wide variety of pastries (sweet and sour), cookies, cakes and ice cream. They have vegan ice cream (chocolate and raspberry) which is very delicious, made with coconut milk. Milk alternatives are also available for coffee. They have an outdoor seating area (fenced), it's nice, but not air conditioned. They also have restrooms (clean and neat). No table service.

It is so good pogácsa with many different taste pattern. Also cake for birthday and many others sweets. You can sit in for coffee as well. Price is average, highly recommended.
