Visiting Tropikarium inside Campona Mall was easily one of the absolute best parts of our trip to Budapest! Even though it's a bit outside the main city center, taking the short trip out there was 100% worth it. The underwater glass tunnel was completely breathtaking, walking right underneath giant sharks and massive stingrays gliding over your head is something I'll never forget, and we honestly stood there for ages just watching them. Getting to actually gently touch the stingrays in their open pool was such a cool surprise too, as they swim right up to the edge and are so friendly. The rainforest section was also super fun with artificial rain falling every 15 minutes, tiny monkeys, and exotic birds. Everything was clean, well looked after, and just an amazing experience from start to finish. If you go, try visiting on a weekday to beat the weekend crowds, but definitely do not miss it!

Great place, a lot of animals - I expected something very small as it is in a mall, very interesting zones. We liked the tropical rainforest part, the shark aquarium. The kids were super excited at the ray pool where you could pet Stingrays. Great experience compared to many other attractions we visited. The staff was very friendly, animals look healthy and the place is clean.

We had such a beautiful experience at Tropicarium with our daughter. It was a wonderful family visit where we discovered so many fascinating sea creatures and exotic animals together. The aquarium tunnels, sharks, rays, and colorful fish were absolutely amazing, and everything was very well organized and enjoyable for children. Our daughter was fascinated the entire time and loved seeing and learning about new underwater animals from around the world. The atmosphere was relaxing, educational, and fun for both kids and adults. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. Highly recommended for families visiting the city!

It’s a bit far from Budapest, especially if you’re visiting in the evening, when there’s traffic leaving the city and approaching this shopping center. For the price of admission, you get much more than expected. It may seem like a small space, but there are actually a lot of animals in such a compact area. Everything is nicely arranged and very interesting.
