Restaurants in Hungary usually open from around 11:00 until about 22:00, while bars and ruin bars stay open much later from Thursday to Saturday. On weekdays many places serve a napi menü, a fixed-price lunch of soup and a main course, typically from 11:00 to 15:00. Book a table for Friday and Saturday evenings and public holidays. Many bills already include a service charge (usually 10–15%); if not, a tip of around 10% is customary but never compulsory. Many restaurants also accept the SZÉP card, the employer-funded leisure card. At international restaurants, from Mexican and Middle Eastern to Indian, ask about spice levels and allergens. Popular places are worth booking at weekends.

According to Google, Ukrán udvar keeps these hours: daily, 11:00–23:00. It is open seven days a week. It opens on Sunday too, as many restaurants and cafés in Hungary do. It gets very busy and reservations are recommended if you'd like a table. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food delicious. We had the potato pancakes, chicken kiev and dumplings. Huge portions. Friendly and efficient service.

Out of a 3-day trip, we ate at this restaurant 3 times — it was perfect every time. Timur and Valeria were very attentive and welcoming. The food is so delicious, fresh, and indulgent, and the service is excellent. There’s no doubt that when we return to Budapest, we’ll definitely come back here.

Had a really nice experience at Ukrainian Courtyard. The service was great. The servers were friendly, attentive, and happy to adjust things based on our preferences, which we really appreciated. I tried the borscht and the pork ribs, and both were very tasty. The portion sizes were generous too, which made the meal even better. Overall, a lovely dining experience and highly recommend giving it a try!.

I would give this restaurant a 4.5 star rating but I can’t so I’ll stick with 4 only because it is under staffed like a lot of businesses nowadays. We found the service to be good, consistent and friendly but slow at the same time. We don’t think it was a lack of effort or interest but a lack of manpower. The sausages with potatoes and the Borsch were very tasty and met our expectations. The portions are generous and we found this place not to be extremely expensive. 95 USD for 4 people including a drink each and a full meal. The outside sitting area is nice and has plenty of space for a couple of small groups. Would definitely recommend going to this place to try traditional Ukrainian food.

I've been here a few times now and plan to come back for more. Very charming interior and authentic Ukrainian dishes. Everything I tried so far was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the special drinks too, the compote and kvas are both really good.
