Traditional. Old-school, homr-made style confectionery. The Krémes is really good, without artificial vanilla flavoring and natal cream without sugar, which makes it perfect with a good coffee. Also offering biscuits. Prepare with cash because they don't have a card reader!

Went to get a treat and bought some cookies. The lady had a tray of trimmings from a dessert on top of the counter so my Hungarian husband and I assumed they were samples. We picked up a small piece to try it and she rudely treated us like thieves and told us that wasn't a sample. Was extremely rude and disrespectful even though we had just purchased sweets from her and clearly were just confused due to her having these open on the counter. We will never be back. Absolutely rude and disrespectful owner that left a bitter taste in our mouth.

It's a must visit bakery / cake place in the city! I had a poppy seed cake that was the best thing I ate in my whole trip in Budapest - and it was still warm, fresh from the oven 🤤the owners are lovely and very friendly, they speak English very well.

Beautiful home made apple pie and tasty coffee. It's a tiny confectionery, good service and perfect for a quiet coffee and cake before you enter the busy and overpriced castle district. Will be back again.
