We tried various dishes, including some vegetarian options. They were all amazing. I can only recommend their spring roll, cucumber salad (if you like garlic and sesame oil), sour-spicy soup, sizzling stone roasted duck, crispy chicken and mapo tofu (both with beef and vegetarian version). The atmosphere is great with simple, elegant and classy interior. Their raspberry rum (K1) cocktail was also refreshing and tasty.

Updated based on restaurant explanation: We ordered fried rice and fried noodles for takeaway. The staff is not doing the job asking if we want to add meat or not which is a common option that people would choose. As a result we ordered without meat and feeling dissatisfied as we expected to have chicken in it. I am Asian and these two dishes taste average in my opinion.

It was our first time in Wang Mester. The place is very beautiful and the foods were absolutely delicious. If you love sweet and chilli soup you have to try the Sechuan Sweet and sour or chilli soup. It was delisshhhh!! Then we ate wok-fried squid with celery and egg fried rice. OMG!! We absolutely loved it. We took one portion home after lunch. 🙊 Squid won us over. Definitely won't be out last time in Wang Mester. Can't wait to try the other foods.

We were already more times with friends in the Wang Mester Mozium restaurant. Every time we have the same very good, friendly experience, and it was also even today evening. The serving staff is the best in Budapest Chinese Restaurants. In this cold evening we got a ggod suggestion to eat at first a delicious chicken soup with shiitaki mushroom. All what we ate were unforgettable delicious. Sure, if we would like to eat chinese in Budapest, we choose Wang Mester Mozium again.

Food was so so. It’s just okay if you really really want to eat Chinese food but can’t go out of Buda area. It was a bit salty. Food just comes out in same plate, don’t expect something on menu. We waited 10 minutes to get extra plate. I would not really recommend this place, but you can try. Good for one time. It’s good, but not worth the money.
