So glad to have discovered Wise some years back. Some of my family live in the US and some in New Zealand. Wise makes for easy and cheap transfers of money when we need it. Easiest, cheapest, and fastest way to send money internationally. Banks price gouge you. Wise is extremely inexpensive with a small fee structure and provides you exchange rate information so you know exactly what you're sending. Money is sent/received within same day, next day or two, depending on if sending during the week or weekends/holidays. Thank you Wise!

I've been doing international money transfers for many years and I can say with no hesitation that Wise is ahead of any other financial institution. Their rates are very competitive, their tech and system philosophy are way more advanced than traditional banking and as a result they can make transfers in seconds between countries as they use the funds they already have in each country so the transfer is really a pointer to the amount being transferred. I use them all the time and clearly no bank can compete with them so far. They also give you great interest on your money, comparable to money market

Past experience has been great where I have used Wise several times to send money to the Netherlands for a specific medication to take care of birds in my veterinary practice. Newer changes to their security processing required to send/receive money are not working well. I had to repeatedly submit the same security questionnaire and documents and the system would not recognize them as valid even though they are. After I finally got the approval for my security documents on the 4th or 5th try, I was not able to send money for the medication because they no longer allow payments for medications to be paid for through a wire.

I have used Wise for a handful of years to send funds to my friends and family. Not only was this the most inexpensive way of doing so, they also offer the best conversion rate and show the fees upfront. The transfers are always quick (as quick as it can be).
