Very disappointing experience with Yettel. I went to a Yettel store because I wanted to subscribe to their home internet service. Before going, I checked Yettel’s own website, which clearly states that the service is available to residential customers. There is no statement on this page saying that the service or router is only available to Hungarian citizens. However, at the store, I was told that because I am not Hungarian, they could not provide me with the router. They offered me only the SIM card and told me that I should buy the router myself from MediaMarkt. This made me feel discriminated against because I was refused the equipment based on my nationality, despite the information on Yettel’s website referring to residential customers, not Hungarian citizens. If there is a specific rule preventing foreign customers from receiving the router, Yettel should clearly publish this information and explain it to customers. The information given in the store should also be consistent with the information published on the official website. Very disappointing experience, especially as a foreign customer living in Hungary.

1) You have to take number and que up otherwise you'll be ignored. Despite staff saw me waiting no one bothered to ask even though it was not busy. 2) Not all staff speaks English.

I highly recommend this Yettel store, especially for tourists! I arrived in Hungary as an older tourist with no working internet roaming and zero knowledge of the Hungarian language. I was very stressed, but a wonderful employee named Anna completely saved my trip. Instead of taking advantage of a tourist and selling me the most expensive package, Anna was incredibly honest, kind, and genuinely cared about my needs. She helped me choose the perfect tourist data plan that lasts for a month. Since I am not very tech-savvy, she personally replaced my SIM card and completely set up my phone so that everything worked perfectly before I left. For the first time, I felt truly respected and valued as a human being in a foreign country. If you are a tourist in Budapest, come straight to this office and look for Anna. Incredible customer service! Thank you, Anna!

Absolutely scam. They charged me 29000 forint for using 7.9 mb roaming that I didn’t even use. When I tried to move my number to one they didn’t check my information correctly and my transfer didn’t go through. As a student I am disappointed and frustrated for spending hours and hours for a very horrible service. They will also charge me additional 5000 penalty fee for leaving but they can’t even do their work and check my information correctly. Additionally they will charge me with May’s bill that I will not even use as I am moving to the One. I have sent an official complaint through their website and didn’t get any response back. Absolutely horrible customer service and total scammers.

I am extremely disappointed with the service. Kristina, a sales associate at Yettel Budapest WestEnd, despite knowing I have been a loyal customer for two years, promised me professional service and assured that I would receive the mobile on time. I told her that I am traveling to a new country on March 1st, and this mobile is crucial for my company work. She gave me 100% assurance, yet I did not receive it. Moreover, she misled me into signing a contract in Hungarian, which I could not fully understand. Now, they are telling me I must pay a penalty if I want to change the plan. This is completely unprofessional, and I strongly advise others to avoid Kristina.
