The rooms are a bit crowded, and placing children in the same dorms with other adult guests may not be the best idea – there was constant crying which affected sleep. However, the rooms are actually very clean, although some of the guests were a bit rude during our stay. The showers? Let’s just say they felt like something out of a purgatory scene. That being said, the common areas offer an incredible view, and there’s a lovely kitchen space where you can prepare your own breakfast. Since it’s a hostel, we weren’t expecting luxury, but we were impressed by the basics: strong Wi-Fi, enough power outlets, decent beds, and hot showers. It’s also very centrally located, and there’s always a staff member available at check-in. Great value for budget travelers.

COCKROACHES / CUCARACHAS VIVAS Terrible experience. We waited over an hour for the host, who never showed up. The room was dirty, full of dust and trash we had to clean ourselves — and the receptionist even blamed us for it. We found two live cockroaches and one dead. As “compensation,” they offered a Coca Cola and a water. Definitely not “the place to be in Budapest,” more like the place to avoid.

Lovely top floor view of the city, though there were dead, and half moving flies littered everywhere - in the carpet, inside the coffee table, and also across all of the window sills. A breeze would occasionally come through and jolt the half living ones into moving a bit. Did find £3 in coins on the floor however. Fantastic location, right near the Michael Jackson memorial tree, and a short walk to ruin bars in the Jewish District, which was ideal. Very affordable.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am an America traveler and booked a couple nights at this hostel , I will say the staff was excellent and very helpful. One night while sleeping I was violated by another person in my room , I left at 3 am with no other place to sleep however the man at the desk offered me a room until 6 am, I respectfully declined. The kid at the desk was super helpful but overall the bathrooms were gross , the rooms dirty , sheets dirty, yeah just get a hotel room or find a different hostel because this place is a mess , I want to be very clear the staff was extremely helpful.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Can’t understand why they get 8 on booking.com The WiFi connection in room is bad, can’t get access at all, no one at reception to help. I brought international roaming data now to write this 1 star review for them, they deserve it . Toilets and bathroom can’t be locked, it will be flooding during shower, feel unsafe when I shower here.
