Best gyros I'm currently aware of in Budapest, and I tried a LOT!

Very friendly place. But not suitable for keto & hypercarnivore dieters! TLDR: The meat was very dry and I couldn't taste anything from the salt, no matter how slowly and mindfully I ate it. I ended up eating the tzatziki with way too many apples like a chips, cause it was saltier than sea water, like pure salt. I couldn't have been dehydrated. Maybe i just got unlucky that day. I had to mix the gyros meat into a homemade soup to taste any flavors, but it was epic when it softened up!

Real authentic Greek Gyros. The only time I ate gyros this good was in Greece. I can only recommend this place. They have other greek food not just gyros.

Fine food with friendly serving in a little place. Whatever you eat here, it will be good. Could only recommend. The only one bad thing is that it closes early. People drive 10-20 miles to get there.

(Feb 2019) One of my favorite places in Budapest (Aquincum)! I rarely go to the same restaurant twice, but the fact that my friends and I came here several times (and that I'm writing a review) definitely says something! The owners are so friendly, and the man speaks great English so no worries for foreign students/tourists as well! Great prices for great food -- so far, we have tried the gyros pita, beef pita, gyros plate, meat plate, and they were all fantastic. Not crowded, and has a nice sitting area!
