Budapest is a beautiful city moreover, tourists can taste the excellent food, Hungarians also welcome foreigners very well. In Budapest you can discover a capital city which has a very rich history consequently there are many interesting monuments.There are also thermals baths and swimming pools all over Budapest. Don't forget to visit Hungary's countryside as well. You can easly use English, French German in Hungary as Hungarians speak easily foreign languages. Do visit this great country, you will enjoy and you might be willing to visit it again.

Office was easy to locate and, as it was right in the middle of the city center, there were lots of public transportation options. Pick up was really smooth and quick. The agents were efficient and provided all of the useful information. Spoke good English. We returned after office hours and that went by quick as well because we were told exactly what to do. The car provided was amazing, clean, and we had no problems. I’ve used Avis before in Canada and the US, and I haven’t been disappointed yet.

We had a great experience with this rental company. Laszlo was absolutely fantastic. He showed us everything on the car. The car we received was perfect size for 3 adults and all our luggage. Laszlo also Explained every detail on returning as well. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find in a very busy area of the city. Laszlo met us outside upon returning the car to help us find the garage. Can’t say enough about how wonderful he was. They are very lucky to have an employee so valuable.

The car was new and definitely well maintained. The only thing was the rent was a bit expensive for a day about 100 euro but maybe because we did not booked online beforehand. They are helpful and we rented the car in the centre and returned it in the airport with no additional charge.

TERRIBLE Experience with AVIS Car Rental in Budapest. If I could give it 0 stars i would. I recently had a terrible experience with AVIS Car Rental in Budapest. During our rental, we encountered what appears to be a tourist scam, and despite returning the car in impeccable condition, the post-rental inspection was inadequate. The company claimed there was a scratch UNDERNEATH the car, for which we are certain wasn't our fault. What added to the frustration was that the provided photo lacked crucial details such as the car plate and even the date it was taken. Because of this claim from AVIS, of which we had no accountability for, the company is charging us 300 euros for it. Despite doing a full pre rental check on the car for flaws and scratches, what is very frustrating is that I would have to literally bend down on the ground to see the scratch they are claiming. Adding to that, the garage they keep the rental cars at is VERY dark and difficult to see every detail of the car in full, especially the bottom of the car underneath the front panel. Furthermore, the company took 3 days to issue a receipt for the car. We tried contacting them multiple times and had no answer, making
