10000 forints to send a driver license card from Budapest to Vienna. The other option is sending it as normal letter, which almost guarantees that they lose it. Shameless..

When will you learn, as a public service, to update your opening hours on Google maps in a reliable manner? Cherry on the cake to see how poorly the actual opening hours are shown even on at your door (after walking through the cold for nothing). I'm standing here with more people experiencing the same. You can do better, you must do better!

I'm not sure if this place or any other post office in this country is worth even 1 star. The worst part is that you don't have any choice not to use their "service" or deal with them in any way. The package I ordered was a prepaid priority package, and the logistics partner was DHL. Well they decided to give the package to Magyar posta, who thought it was necessary to do an import procedure, at the end of which they decided that the package need not be imported after all... and they invoiced this decision to me. You'd think that after all this, they will deliver the package, which is the size of a normal letter, but no. You'll have to go to the post office, get in line, and ask them to give it to you. Paid for it thrice, then did the work for them too.

Surprisingly I’ve received here today a good service for delivery of several packages. The people were really kind and helpful. FYI the package room is a side one, not in the central entrance

One of the biggest post offices in Budapest, located in the very centre of the capital near to Nyugati railway station rendering almost all the postal and banking services including exchange of invalid Hungarian notes. The post office is always crowded, long lines and wait before you allowed to reach the window and can communicate with the postal clerk. There is also a small shop to buy necessary items to satisfy postal requirements, also books, toys for children. As there is a significant fluctuation of the poorly paid employees the postal staff is not always professional and not really attentive, they perform at minimally necessary level.
