Ladies at the counter were really nice, bought 2 stamps for a normal price. They gave us a pen to write the cards there and then. Communication in English is possible. I would recommend (:

Incredibly rude stuff. It’s fine if you can’t speak English. We can use translation apps. For my work, I will also encounter foreigners who can’t speak English. It’s not the end of the world. There was no one queuing behind me and I was not in a rush. Just a simple question - How much is an international stamp cost? I bought one stamp for HUF 1180. Avoid coming here!!

If I could put zero stars I would. The people kept telling me to sit, Didn’t explain anything, and then closed their stations directly after helping one person when there was a line and there were 3 hours left of working hours. Have never experienced this yet in Europe.

It is a small but efficient post office. The clerks are polite and try to be helpful. I had good experiences so far. Don't understand why other reviews are so negative. I am local and go here often. So does my wife who does not speak Hungarian. I did not experience any of the negatives mentioned by others. The place is definitely not dimly lit or reeking. The service is not slow but you may have to queue at busier times like you have to do at all post offices. The clerks may chitchat with elderly people and locals they know. It does not slow down things too much and I find it charming. It is a local post office and people from the neighbourhood go there. People know each other and will say hello and may exchange a few words which may not be strictly related to the purpose of their visit. If you find this intolerable, I don't know what to tell you.
