It was June 5, 2026 (Friday). It was the day when my partner and I were to go around the beautiful city of Budapest and see its main attractions. Our city trip with booked with ‘Cityrama Travel Agency,’ a local service provider in Budapest. Right from the word go, everything was perfectly arranged by the agency. We were taken around the city on a rather comfortable bus. Also, the tour guide was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and witty. If we ever happen to be in Budapest again, we shall book this agency again. Great work folks!

Danube Bend Day Trip - Our tour was such a great way to spend a full tour out of the city. Our tour guide Maximus Pablo was great and all timings went to plan. I would have preferred to have had longer in Szentendre, to allow time for lunch, instead of returning to Visegrád after Esztergom. If it’s hot take drinks on the river boat back to Budapest because we were supposed to have had drinks, but the boat was unable to serve them, and it was 41 degrees. However I still recommend this trip as it was very nice to see some of Hungary’s countryside.

Tour was well organized. Started on time, got all the spots they wanted to show us on time and all accompanied with good background stories. Our guide was very knowledgeable but her English wasn’t great. She would sometimes be too verbose as well and share too much detail which became boring. I would have appreciated more free time in the fisherman’s bastion and less commentary - or maybe gone people the option to be on their own or listen to the guide. Overall i would recommend this tour.

A perfect day trip from Budapest! I highly recommend this Danube Bend tour. The itinerary was well-organized, starting with the artistic vibes of Szentendre, followed by the breathtaking panoramic views from Višegrad Citadel. Finishing at the grand Esztergom Basilica was the perfect touch. The guide was knowledgeable and the local bus was very comfortable. It’s a great way to see the beauty of Hungary outside the capital!
