If you’ve already finished high school, I wouldn’t recommend this place to take the IELTS. It’s borderline humiliating what happened during the test. Making people sit in silence for an hour, without letting them talk, touch anything, or even going out to the bathroom is just not acceptable.

the administrator in my speaking test: in the cloak room, afternoon, on 8th of November. She was “busy” talking to the other girl, gave very blurry instruction. I don’t say that it was completely her fault but she must know that as candidates are always anxious before the test. She told me “Please both of you could go to the rooms now. There are two rooms” I saw there were two rooms and she didn’t say that the first one is for registration. I guess I wasn’t bright at that time either, but being nervous is totally normal before the test and hearing their conversation was super distracting and disturbing for me. What I want to mention here is about her professionalism, she didn’t do her job well by giving clear instructions to each candidate, talked loudly while working. I strongly demand the center to fix this issue. It caused very unpleasant experience and unnecessary worries for the students. All the other administrators were either nice or just did their duty right, that’s all we need.

If you are planning to take the IELTS exam here, prepare for the followings: - In the exam rooms, examinees are seated very closely to each other. If the candidate behind you turns up the volume during the listening part, even if you wear headphones, it will be too loud and you will not be able to pay attention to your own tasks. - The keyboards are extremely loud. Bring earplugs and ask permission to use them, otherwise you won't be able to concentrate on your task. - Not all invigilators communicate well in English. Read all the available exam rules online in advance, don't wait to be informed there (although it doesn't depend on the location, it's British Council Hungary...) - If you can, don't try this exam in Budapest. Before the oral exam, the administrators caused tension with the way they behaved with the candidates and the oral examiner spoke extremely fast and slurred. I have never encountered anything like that in my life.

Really good language school. I am learning Hungarian and I am ex trimly satisfied. Menager and teacher that I had chance to talk to are super professional,very pleasant and most important i ma learning a lot! This school is the best choose if you want to learn in a professional environment with a good teachers.
