Been to 100+ hotels across Europe and the world but never met such annoying customer experience. The hotel itself, as a building, is good, the location too, but the maintenance of it which is given by the staff is bad. Old stains in the rooms, on the floor and on the chairs. Sink in the bathroom was clogged and the water was staying there 30 min after using. The mattress which I slept on (room 314) was bent on one side. When I checked on it it turns out that it sits on older mattress. There is no bed underneath which gives 0 ergonomy. Unacceptable, but let's leave this. The staff on the counter (young guys are operative), but there is one old guy which thinks he is funny, but when you wait 2 hours (until 17:00) to check in there is no time for jokes. Especially when you lied 3 times for the last hour that in 10 minutes the room is ready. This guy needs to be aware that jokes are not OK when you are in this situation. Maybe it is late to teach him, but at least try to speak with him about this. He can only make the situation worse. The location is amazing - right on a metro statin and tram station, and across the street from a train station and bus stop. Breakfast is decent and the room was clean, but that’s about it for the good part. The bathroom doorknob was broken, the shower gel dispenser was empty throughout our three-night stay, but those are mere gripes. The real problem was that somebody had the brilliant idea to stick the centrally-managed AC on heating in 30C weather. We sweated our butts off and I had to repeatedly take cold showers just to get a chance at sleeping…

The rooms were clean, but old and not very good quality. You can get a hairdryer at the reception for a €10 deposit. The key card for the room did not always work, and the fridge in the room was not working. On the positive side, the windows block street noise well, so it was quiet. The location is very convenient — close to the metro and train station, and there is a Spar supermarket nearby.

Hello, Was in Budapest for 48hours. Work related travel - so I did not booked that hotel. I did not enjoy my stay there at all. Room dirty, no plug by the bed, lot of spots on sofas and the ground. The worst - was the service behavior. They were cold to me, starting at me on the side while I’m waiting for ans answer at the desk ( while not being busy). The his morning I craved a breakfast - so I went for and i met the worst team ever met in a hotel ( i do travel a lot…). No good morning - ok I ask water you barely watch me - ok Having smile with the persons in front of me and behind me and then cold and irrespectfull with me- ok I did not eat and shortened my stay. Actually going elsewhere. (as writing) Oh and I’m black of course. Worst mood - experience - room - team - service ever. Shout out to the manager I met the first night I’ve arrived - thanks for being respectful ( and just welcoming).

I am quiet satisfied with one night stay at this hotel, perfect location for taking a train from the main railway station. Receptionists were helpful and spoke flawless English. Single room was bit outdated, but clean and well maintained. If you are on budget trip, but still prefers a private room. I recommend this hotel to choose.
