Sunday trading is allowed in Hungary: supermarket chains such as Tesco, Spar, Lidl, Aldi, Penny and Auchan usually open Monday to Saturday from 6:00 or 7:00 to 20:00–21:00, with shorter Sunday hours, and shopping centres from about 10:00 to 20:00–21:00. Smaller shops typically open 9:00 or 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and until 13:00 on Saturdays, and many close on Sundays. On Christmas Eve shops close at 14:00, and on public holidays most shops are closed. Book a bike service ahead in spring, as waiting times grow at the start of the season. Ask about service package prices and how long a repair will take.

Published opening hours: Mon–Thu 11:00–18:00, Fri 11:00–16:00, Sat–Sun closed. That makes 5 working days a week. It is closed on Sundays, which is common for smaller shops, although supermarket chains and shopping centres in Hungary open on Sundays too. Hours can differ on public holidays and long weekends, so check before you go. The listed phone number is +36 70 250 8870. It is shown in international format with the +36 country code, so it works from Hungary and from abroad alike; within Hungary you can also dial 06 instead of +36. Its website is egyparkerek.hu, where you may find prices, details of what it offers or booking options.

Very experienced guy working the shop. Took all my bikes (mountain bike, city bikes) for multiple tune-ups (kisgeneral, nagygeneral). In my experience when a part needed replacing he called me and told me the options honestly and was not trying to rip me off. Rented a snowboard once, he helped me with the size, etc, it was perfect.

Gyors, kedves és profi szogáltatás és ügyfélkezelés. Nagygenerálon és külső-belső kerékcserén voltam, mindent precízen megcsinált a bolt tulajdonosa, amit ezúton is köszönök. Ajánlom másoknak is. ------- Fast, kind and professional bike and customer service. My bike got a big service and a back tyre change which have been delivered accurately by the owner of the shop. Thank you in this way too. I recommend him.

Fixing a fkat tire costs 4000Ft. 1 hour after the fix it was flat again, bike was fixed 3 times in a row and every time after a few hours it was flat however it was not even used (transported in car).

Charged me HUF4000 for a inner tube change (2k for the inner tube, 2k for service!) , which literally blew up by itself the next day. Had it replaced again (+2000 HUF), and the same happened. Then replaced again with the original inner tube (after applying a patch in a really small hole), AND THE SAME HAPPENED - IT POPPED BY ITSELF - WITHOUT EVEN RIDING THE BIKE!! Except for the first occasion (out of 3), I did not use my bike at all after the inner tube replacement, but anyway it blew up by itself after a few hours or overnight. A simple thing became a nightmare. Unfortunately the repairman neglected other issues the bike might have had, like a tire slit - which turned out to be the case after I brought the bike somewhere else.
