I had great help as a foreigner in this bank, the staff were so kind and polite. Victor was very patient and explained the process for my account opening to me. Provided timely feedback, even when network was giving issues, he persistently fought to ensure I get my account setup. I highly recommend this bank especially for service's.

After waiting for an hour, an employee finally approached me, only to stand and listen briefly without even inviting me to her desk, she then proceeded to assist another customer who had arrived after me. When I finally got the chance to explain my issue to another employee, I was simply told to call customer service, the same number I had been trying to reach for few days without success because they disconnect the call whenever I speak English. This happened to me after wasting one hour at another branch of Erste bank! This bank cannot provide basic customer service, especially to international customers.. No professionalism and commitment to their clients.

On customer service, the receptionist doesn’t even understand English and made me wait 2 hours before even entertaining me and leading me to another account manager. For the account manager , she was contacting me but when I replied she ghosted me who me and doesn’t respond to emails to inquire about my account number. They said they created an account and CAN’T even show me the proof it exists (certificate of the account or account number itself).

I came to the branch to open a bank account. Everything was so smooth as I have given all my details beforehand with help of Andrea. Meanwhile, Melinda help me to finalize everything else and answering all my questions with good explanation. I came with some goodies from the bank.

Kudos to Balazs Adam at the branch on Bartok Bela utca location! What an easygoing yet professional service he provided👋. He demonstrated excellence and knowledge by him overcoming some system issues without causing inconvenience. We are absolutely satisfied with Erste Bank's services and their ever so friendly and always helpful members! Their online banking has been flawless and up to par.
