About Frida Budapest

Frida, nem Kahlo. Eszes, nem okoskodó. Bármit felvehet, sosem közönséges. Természeténél fogva taszítja a piszkot. Pikírt, de nem zajos. Ha belép valahova, azonnal tudják, hogy megérkezett. Nem egyszerűen fiatal, ő kortalan. A szélnek nincs száma, a hangnak nincs súlya, a ragyogásról mégis azonnal érezzük, amikor megérint. Megnyitva! Gyertek!

Overall, I’d recommend Frida if you’re looking for a nice spot for lunch, dinner, or even just a few drinks. It’s tucked away on a lovely quiet street in a really attractive part of Budapest. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and despite arriving quite late, we were lucky enough to get a table inside without much of a wait. Our kids were already tired and overstimulated by that point in the day, so that probably coloured our experience a little, but the food itself was excellent. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and while I wouldn’t call it cheap, the quality justified the price. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I randomly stumbled upon this place while exploring the city. And it was a great choice the food was excellent. My main was a Pork tenderloin dish, followed by a pistachio Dubai soufflé dessert. I enjoyed every bite and the staff were professional and friendly. If you enjoy good classy food and are in the area, go in here. I was all around, satisfied.

The location is lovely and the atmosphere is inviting. The food was overall okay, with good portions. I would say I enjoyed the truffle risotto and the cheesecake, and the lemonade was refreshing, they have sugar free options Service was mixed, one of the waitresses was genuinely kind, while another seemed less careful, which affected the overall experience a bit A decent spot for a casual meal in a nice setting.
