The restaurant manager was not professional. My son was playing on the outdoor playground at the restaurant. One of the children’s mothers or grandmothers behaved aggressively toward him — she pushed him and pulled him. Instead of speaking to the woman about her behavior, the manager called me and said that my son behaved badly. I think the situation was handled unfairly. I was disappointed with the staff’s attitude, and it even felt like foreign guests may be treated differently in this restaurant.

Pros: - diverse menu - great value to cost ratio Cons: - portions are too big: I’d rather have twice as small plate and pay twice less instead of taking half of a dish home, where it becomes way less tasty * food is plenty fat Recommended dishes: * catfish (beware of semi-raw potato on a side dish though)

Had dinner at this restaurant in Budapest. I ordered chicken and my family had pizza. The food was delicious and nicely cooked, though it took a bit long to arrive. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit far from the city center, but luckily our hotel was close by, so it was a convenient and pleasant spot for us to eat. Overall, a nice experience!

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely pond in the garden area. Have to say I absolutely love the Tackler red wine they serve and enjoy a bottle with our meal on each visit. Food Very good menu with a lot to offer My fiancee went for the chicken with goat's cheese with walnuts and sweet potato. I enjoyed chicken Óvári, ham, cheese, mushrooms, and garlic with steak chips and jasmine rice. Desert I had chestnut puree, and my partner had the floating islands. Service was excellent and professional They also offer a takeaway service, which seems very popular with locals. This was my third visit on a third different day, and for a Wednesday night, it was busy obviously showing it's a popular restaurant. If in Budapest get the Metro.to Hatar Ut them jump on the tram from the exit on the left hand side of the metro station to Lehel utca which is 2 stops away jump of the tram then cross the rails to the pavement and look left it's less than 20 yards away walk down the alley way entrance and your there..

Outstanding as always. I visit this place every 4-5 years and I gotta tell you this - it always delivers. Great food, good portions. Beautiful garden with fish n turtles in a small pond. Relatively good prices compared to other similar restaurants. I will come back as always!
