This small park is in great neglect and has been all summer , the grass has been dead since June , drug addicts sleep here regularly , they remove trees for no reason and they just left it like this over 2 months ago and it's still there , they close large portion of the parks for weeks just to remove more trees. It's a shame cause it could be a nice park. The people in management of these parks in the area should be fired.

Kedves park Budán. A kis mérete ellenére sok szobor, utacskák, játszótér, szökőkút is van benne. A park nevét egykori tulajdonosáról, Szentgyörgyi Horváth Zsigmondról kapta. (A Szentgyörgyi Horváth család nevéhez fűződik a balatonfüredi Anna-bál is.) 1862-ben, az Alagút megépültekor Buda városa megvásárolta, és közparkká alakította. Az eladó Horváth család kikötötte, hogy a parkban játszóteret is kell létesíteni. A Horváth-kerten át folyt az Ördög-árok, amely ma is a park alatt folyik, de már több mint 130 éve be van fedve. (A befedés munkálatait itt, a János hídnál kezdték el 1873. március 5-én, de csak 1876 júniusában adták át a Vérmezőig tartó szakaszt.) Azóta csak az 1838-ban állított Nepomuki Szent János-szobor emlékeztet a patak nyomvonalára.

Nice green area, with sculptures and fountain. Perhaps it was a bit dirty, rubbish on the pavement and around. :(
