All dishes were delicious! Hungarian quisine in a modern interpretation. Good variety of beer. Make sure you book a table beforehead.

We went without reservation, was max busy and fully booked. But staff managed to squeeze us in for quick dinner. Fish soup woth catfish was wonderful, had a bite of my wifes dish (stuffed chicken with chedar and ham) very dealicious too. Thank you for great dinner.

We have just returned from a fabulous family lunch at Kakas Étterem. This restaurant is hidden away in a suburb of Budapest but well worth travelling out here. The restaurant has an extensive and imaginative menu. The waiting staff were attentive and delivered the service with a sense of humour. The restaurant was busy but still felt relaxed. We loved all the dishes we ordered. I was especially taken with the Harcsapaprikás túrós csuszával. We will definitely return.

We were on a birthday party here, the food was pre ordered so we couldn't order for ourselves and got the 4 person plate but everything on the plate was super delicious. The drinks were good as well, the staff was kind, fast and professional, and the environment was fantastic. Parking on the street, we were in weekend here so I can't tell if it's free on weekdays or not. The toilet was super clean which is very important! The garden is very cozy with the little lake in the middle.
