Absolutely beautiful! We attended an end of the year concert. $12 for front row seats with a 75% discount for students.

We're in town for a few weeks and have attended numerous spring recitals (no cost). Very easy to find the upcoming programs and events on their website. So much talent! This has been a highlight of our visit to Budapest.

We really enjoyed the guided tour at the Liszt Academy of Music. The tour was well-structured, informative and pleasantly short, making it easy to stay engaged throughout. What made the experience truly special was the live cello performance by a music student at the end. Hearing live music inside such a historic and beautiful building added a very emotional and authentic touch — it felt alive, not staged. The Art Nouveau architecture is stunning, with impressive halls and beautiful details everywhere you look. The guide shared interesting background stories about the building, its history and its musical significance without overwhelming us with facts. A perfect experience for anyone interested in architecture, classical music or Budapest’s cultural life. Highly recommended — even if you’re not usually a classical music fan.

Highly recommend everyone to join the guided tour lasted for around an hour to understand the history and architectural characteristics of the academy. 6700huf for an in-depth English guided tour is good value, though you may need to pay great attention if you are not that familiar with English because the accent of the guide may be a bit difficult to understand. Anyway, this is probably the only way for you to get in touch with the academy in addition to concerts. At the end of the tour, there is a mini concert lasting for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, performed by the students of the academy. It's fascinating and outstanding!

We attended a concert with the purpose of both seeing the building, which is considered an important example of the Art Nouveau movement, and enjoying beautiful music. The building has an impressive architecture with unique details that make you feel immersed. The concert took place in the main hall, and we also appreciated the acoustics and design of the hall. In addition to the architecture of the building, we also enjoyed our time there. The concert was wonderful, and our experience entering and exiting the hall was smooth. The staff members were attentive and polite. I highly recommend purchasing tickets to a concert that interests you and experiencing this impressive building while enjoying music inside.
