A very nice concert hall with a stunning decoration. We went to a Mozart concert conducted with enthusiasm and talent by Gábor Takács-Nagy. Music was excellent and tickets were very affordable.

yet another beautiful display of classicism and art nouveau that runs through this city. after many visits to Budapest, I was finally introduced to this institution by a local friend who frequents. He shared a tip worth knowing: If you try your luck about an hour before a performance, you might be able to reserve an available seat. That’s exactly what we did. Even sat behind the stage, I enjoyed the experience. it just took a little wiggle here and there for a clearer view but my phone’s zoom helped with that:) sometimes it was enough to just listen. Letting the music move through the room. some might feel the view is obstructed but for me, the limited view allowed the orchestra to marry into the atmosphere instead of being the main focal point. from that pov, i was able to be an observer of the audience, warm lighting, gold details, and those entrancing chandeliers! maybe something only my fellow neurospicy folks would appreciate, from a ‘fly on the wall’ perspective. there was a short intermission. just enough time for a bathroom run. i stayed instead and enjoyed the empty hall. the audience and performers carried themselves with professionalism, and we were even rewarded w

I enjoyed a piano recital concert here, and it was truly a memorable experience. The concert hall is beautiful, with excellent acoustics and world-class performances. The Franz Liszt Academy of Music, founded by Franz Liszt himself, is a historic gem at the heart of Budapest. We bought our tickets online, and it ended up being one of our best experiences in the city.

I am in love with this place, I go to different concerts, in different halls and it is always so nice, clean and pleasant. And great artists and tickets are affordable. There is also a cloakroom, a toilet, a cafe and of course people who direct and say where the concert will take place. The hosts at the beginning are also very nice. I highly recommend this place.
