An amazing artisan cafe. Prices may be a bit high but I think worth for a coffee, matcha, dessert or brunch. I had Roasted vegetables labneh sourdough bread morning plate for 2190 HUF. It did look big but it was enough. Bread was really good. Employees were friendly.

A charming café and bakery with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, making it a pleasant place to sit down for breakfast, brunch, or a coffee break while exploring Budapest. The pastries and baked goods are fresh and nicely presented, and there is a good selection to choose from. The ice cream was also quite good, and we appreciated being allowed to sample a few flavours before making our choice. Coffee was well made, and the overall quality of the food was good. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that it was not too crowded. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A lovely spot to relax, enjoy freshly baked treats and good ice cream, and experience one of Budapest’s popular artisan bakeries. Worth a visit if you appreciate quality pastries, coffee, and welcoming service.

Mamie Artisan was a delightful find and easily one of the highlights of our visit. The pastry selection looked absolutely stunning, and the extensive range of ice cream flavours made it difficult to choose. We eventually tried the Raspberry, Brown Sugar, Pistachio, and Sour Cherry Soup flavours, and every one of them was excellent. As someone who loves sour flavours, the Raspberry and Sour Cherry Soup were particularly enjoyable and suited my taste perfectly. The flavours were vibrant, refreshing, and tasted genuinely artisanal, while the Brown Sugar and Pistachio offered a wonderful balance of richness and depth. For drinks, we had the Raspberry Iced Matcha and the Black Cherry Tonka Bean Lemonade. Both were refreshing, creative, and paired perfectly with the desserts. The Raspberry Iced Matcha was especially enjoyable, while the Black Cherry Tonka Bean Lemonade delivered a delicious balance of tartness and sweetness that I thoroughly appreciated. Beyond the food and drinks, the ambience was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed afternoon break. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. A hidden gem just outside the tourist area. They offer a variety of pastries and drinks, and apparently ice cream as well, although it seems they only restock it on Fridays, so I didn’t have the chance to try it this time. For the pastry, I went for a cream puff recommended by the staff, and it was one of the best cream puffs I’ve ever had. Instead of bland whipped cream, the filling had a strong vanilla flavour in both the cream and custard. Just as the staff member described it — “not too sweet,” but still rich and full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. The puff itself was also very fresh, soft yet still holding its shape, not like those that have been sitting around for too long where the shell loses its texture. The matcha latte was great as well, freshly made and not watery. As for the service, I was very satisfied. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing, and they were able to explain their pastries clearly, which really shows their interest and passion. I would definitely revisit if I have the chance, and I would recommend it too. Sometimes you can understand more about a country’s culture through a small artisan café with passionate local workers, rather
