Maródi Cukrászda is always a favorite when visiting Budapest! They offer a wide variety of delicious pastries that are always fresh. If you visit later in the day, the selection may be smaller because they typically sell out of most pastries and bake fresh ones again the next morning. The ice cream is also excellent, and they offer sugar-free options as well. The coffee is consistently great! If you’re in Budapest, be sure to visit Maródi Cukrászda if you’d like to experience fresh, delicious pastries and quality coffee.

Good service, big variety... But to charge 3000 florints for the SMALLEST ice caffe lattes I have ever seen is NOT OK. I was very disappointed...

Apr 2026: Café and sweets by the Danube in Budapest, Hungary. We had a cappuccino and a melánge to sip, delicious! The puncs torta was a 9/10 and the chocolatey cake slice was just a 6/10. Nice view from the patio.

Good looking and tasting cake and coffee. A little on the expensive side but still worth the money and calories for a visit

A very nice confectionery store serving a large choice of pastries 🥮 🥐, drinks and artisanal ice-cream 🍦🍨🍧. I ordered a strawberry 🍓 cake 🍰 and a cappuccino ☕️. The cake was really good not too much sugar and the cappuccino good as well but nothing special. No service a table, you need to order from the counter, pay and then they bring it to you. They have a nice indoor dining room spanning on two floors and a nice terrace. The price-quality ratio is very good and the service is okay.
