Good beer selection but the place is dingy and not well ventilated. In summer or winter, it's very humid down there, there are no windows to open, and the AC, if they have one, isn't helping the situation either. It makes for a damp and stuffy experience.

There is something in the air. Like a feeling, a shadow. I can feel it on my nape. This place is calling me. Is it fancy? No. Is it tidy? No. Is the service polite? No. But somehow, I feel honored to be served at all. While standing at the counter I feel involved and I can get arrogant about the whole wide word together with the bartender - together with Luigi.

Mélypont is an experience, hard to describe it any other way. A cellar filled with mismatched furniture but a ridiculous selection of spirits, just look at the menu that others have uploaded pictures of. Not sure where they keep all the bottles, but I got everything I ordered so it's obviously there! You can get some really highly rated stuff at a good price as well, if you know what you're looking for. Worth a visit if you like your whisky, whatever country it comes from!

Great beer selection. You can find excellent Hungarian craft breweries like Brew Your Mind, as well as some of the best European brews, available on tap or in cans/bottles.

Great cozy tavern in an isolated place out of the tourist spoiling area. Excellent choice of many spirits, beers and wines. I chose a Japanese whiskey, just wonderful. We’ll be back for sure, when back in Budapest again. Keep it hidden! ;)
