Egyhàzi ceremóniàn vettem rèszt. Fűtött, levegős volt. Belső tèr varàzslatosan szèp, tiszta.

Nagyvárad téri Református templom az Üllői út 90. alatt található, a IX. kerületben, Ferencvárosban. A templom 1935-ben épült noeeklektikus stilusban, tervezője Dudás Kálmán. Az Üllői úti városi egyhangúságból kitűnik ez a templom.

A templom építésének gondolata 1921-ben született meg, amikor január 1-én a Budapesti Református Egyházközség presbitériuma megkezdte a Külső-Ferencváros-Tisztviselőtelepi Református Missziói Egyházrész szervezését. Elsőnek Zakar Albert gondnok vetette fel az első világháború hőseinek emlékét megörökítő templom építésének gondolatát, melyre öccse elvesztése adott okot, aki 1915. június 28-án a lembergi csatában halt hősi halált, és elesett bajtársaihoz hasonlóan hazájától távol helyezték örök nyugalomra. A harctéren elesettek hozzátartozóinak nem volt lehetőségük leróni kegyeletüket, ezért szorgalmazták egy emléktemplom építését. A presbitérium elfogadta az indítványt, és az építendő templomot az Emlékezet Templomának nevezték el.

A hősök temploma. A 72 várnegye címerei díszítik a templom ablakait. 1930-ba történt az alapkő letétel. Isten félő, barátságos gyülekezetet tálalsz benne.

Ez a templom nem a hagyományos, puritán reformàtus templomok közé tartozik. Gyönyörűek a színes ablakai ,belül a falakat a háborúban elesett katonák nevei és régi címerek díszítik.

Viszonylag fiatal templom, hisz a fölszentelésére 1935. szeptember 22-én került sor. A templom színes ablakain a Trianon előttiMagyarország vármegyéinek címerei láthatóak. A templom 1993 óta helyi műemléki védelem alatt áll.
