I visited this place at 9:57 AM, hoping to try their famous lángos. After greeting the staff, I politely asked if I could order one. The employee just stared at me for a few moments without saying hello back, then bluntly said, “In a few minutes.” The lack of basic courtesy and the unfriendly attitude immediately put me off. I decided to leave without ordering. I can’t comment on the quality of the food because I never got to try it, but first impressions matter. It’s hard to feel excited about eating something prepared by staff who seem so unwilling to serve their customers. I hope this was just an isolated incident, but based on my experience, customer service definitely needs improvement.

Excellent. It’s a small stand only at the top of this Budapest hill — but it has some great strudel in different variations to serve. The quality is excellent, and the service swift; tables outside allow you to enjoy your sweet delight directly in fresh air. Nice views over Budapest included.

Very delicious rétes! We got the turo, plum, and poppy seed ones. The pastry is very light and it has a lot of stuffing, which is the best! It’s not very sweet either so it’s easy to indulge… Very nice views here as well.

It is a MUST visit if in the area. Amazing retes (strudel), great langos, nice service. The view is beautiful also.
