They can’t speak English here. Only Magyar. Just so you know, in case you are not speaking Hungarian, you’ll feel talking to a wall. I think the other branch in Blaha is better

Second time I buy glasses here and they come wrongly adjusted. For the two times I had to fix it in another place. Prices are good, service is ok but quality is not there.

I went in for a new prescription, pair of glasses, and contact lenses soon after moving to Budapest. I don't speak Hungarian, and the staff were kind and patient with me. If you're used to cheaper glasses/contact lenses deals from big opticians chains (e.g. Specsavers lensmail in the UK), you might be a bit disappointed with the price. But still, I was able to get everything I wanted for a reasonable price with help from friendly staff.

BUNKÓ, SZERENCSÉTLEN, BARÁTSÁGTALAN, ÖNZŐ. Went in at 6pm (AUG 2019), they close at 8pm -- 2 hours before closing -- and the lady would not let me take a simple eye exam because someone was in the exam, and 1 person was waiting. Of course, they want to make sure they can finish work early, not one second later, and do not offer any other options like "we can call you if there is enough time while you explore the mall." Not a single consideration was given to the customer that I took an evening out of my schedule to come to this store for an eye exam. Good old fashioned Hungarian service!
