Refused to open an account based on my ethnicity.

Very disappointed with the service at this branch. I had to wait more than 45 minutes just to pick up a bank card. This should be a quick and simple process, but the long waiting time made it very frustrating. The bank needs to improve its efficiency and customer service.

Do not recommend for foreigners, the lady tried to say there was a new rule that required you to bring someone Hungarian with you to open a bank account. If she had just said she didn’t speak English it would have been fine, but to lie was so disrespectful. Went back after googling if this was an actual rule and another worker came and explained everything. There’s no way she could speak enough English to say there was a “new rule” but couldn’t just tell the truth (also google translate exists)
