About Pho36 Akacfa - Vietnamese Restaurant

Authentic... Cozy... Friendly

Vietnamese cuisine is characterized by dishes that are neither too spicy nor too sweet or too fatty. The ingredients (spices) of Vietnamese food are extremely rich. When eating food, it becomes more enjoyable by mixing flavors: Vietnamese people rarely eat different foods separately, they enjoy each one, but the meal is usually combined foods from appetizers to desserts.

In the heart of Budapest, we Vietnamese people want to share the food of our country with the whole world, we want to show the essence of local cuisine. Here you will not only taste the traditional food, but also get to know the Vietnamese culture!

Fantastic pho! Noodles were nice and chewy, and the broth was savory. The peppers provided on the side had a good spicy kick. We had 3 vegetarians in our party. There were a good amount of veggie options with tofu, and the restaurant was willing to make a couple of the noodle soups veggie-friendly, which we greatly appreciated. The waitress was extremely nice and clarified a few menu items. Highly recommend slurping some noodles at Hu Lu Lu when you are in Budapest.

Literally one of the best meals of my life. I don’t know if that’s just partly because i was so hungry after a long day of travelling, but i have never been so happy to eat something. The meals are nice and homey, however the drinks are extremely aesthetic and insta worthy. I got two takeaway deserts, including mango sticky rice which was so on spot. The place was closing down when we were finishing our meals, but no one stressed us and the staff was so friendly and sweet. Love it! It’s a little family owned place, so i wish them to get recognition and appreciation❤️

Stumbled across here when trying to find somewhere to eat. The service was fast and the food was gorgeous. If we were in Budapest longer I would definitely be going again.

Hu lu lu Vietnamese is a pleasant and casual place for Vietnamese food in Budapest. The interior is colorful and lively, with a relaxed atmosphere that works well for a quick meal or a simple sit-down lunch. The pho is good and with generous portions, the food is satisfying and easy to enjoy. Service is straightforward and efficient, and prices are reasonable for the location. Overall, a good option if you are craving Vietnamese food in the city — not exceptional, but reliable and enjoyable.
