Well, thats a classic. Super-size meals, fresh n nasty. You need to remember to order only one meal, but for the whole family... Otherwise you will sit there till closing. The location is ugly (straight forward), but that gives the autenticity to the place. If they survive here for mamy years, they have to be good, right!? ;) If you are in Budapest, and you are into food, but not in a fancy michelline* way, thats a must visit! Plastic table, plastic seats, plastic plates, BUT traditional Hungarian cousin real time. Highly recommended, we loved it.

This is a small local restaurant in Hungary. The food was okay overall, I would rate it about 6/10. What made the place a bit unique to me was that they serve extremely large portions of meat. It’s definitely something different and might be interesting for people who enjoy very big servings. However, sometimes it feels a bit unnecessary because it can be hard to finish everything, which can feel like a waste of money. The drinks were actually quite good and refreshing. One small downside I experienced was during ordering. As an Asian customer, when I placed my order, the staff member seemed to imitate the way I spoke and laughed with someone else in Hungarian. I’m not sure if they were joking with each other or making fun of me, but since it was just me (and i only speak English and don’t understand Hungarian), it felt a little uncomfortable at the time. Overall, I would still recommend this place for people who want to experience very large portion sizes. Just keep in mind that many of the fried dishes didn’t look particularly healthy.

This place is awesome!! I got the chicken schnitzel, fries and pickles(they're the only criticism I have, at least the ones I had we're not sour enough and to much liquid inside, more than juicy). The portions are massive but the taste and quality don't suffer at all as a result. You pay by weight but the price is really good. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really enjoy their outdoor seating area. I definitely recommend bringing people to share the meal, but get your own dipping sauce!! Have to try the cherry drink also. I love going to places like this outside of the tourist areas where the locals eat. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Budapest!!

I don't think I can write anything new here but.. Food is very tasty - potatoes were well made, main course was more than ok, and they had very sweet and tasty Tartar sauce. Portion size is extremely huge - we took on 1 Cordon Bleu, halved it among ourselves, and still took leftovers home. The place is small, and in winter time there's no sitting-outside option. Cozy but it was ok as the place was not busy when we arrived. Also the staff is to be mentioned! They were very nice and kind to us. 10/10 I'd definitely recommend visiting them when you have the chance. Surely I'll be back for more once in a while.

Top Quality as our grannies make it. 😋 Portion? 😲 No question! 😁 You can use the shame bag to bring the leftovers home. 😁 After food you may visit Bogi next door at the lottery place for a nice coffee! ☕☕ 😉
