We stumbled upon this museum close to the train station. It's a great family activity for all ages. The staff was really nice and helpful. It's completely free of charge and has a lot to offer, including interactive activities and unique displays. As visitors who don't speak hungarian we couldn't read some of the information signs, as only some were translated. Despite that we had an amazing time looking at everything else.

Small police museum free entrance was empty when we went ,friendly staff,it’s ok to take photos without flash only one place it’s not allowed to take pics but all in all it was a nice experience

The Historic Police Museum In Budapest! 🚓 The Guide Introduced Each Room, And Told Us Stories About Them. ❤️ We Had A Great Time, As The Guide Was Very Nice. 👍

Great museum, absolutely underrated. We were completely on our own and had the whole museum for ourselves. Completely free!

It is a 5 star because it's: Mostly in English, but mainly in Hungarian of course There are real artefacts and some interactivity It's completely free Sadly the whole bigger stories are only in Hungarian, so it's hard to get the true story only from pictures, but Google translate can help a bit. Interesting choice if you are around and into the history and forensics
