This is our first time in Hungary and we do not speak the language. Me and my friend were at the self check-out (which was not busy at all so we were not holding the line) and I was trying to use Google translate on the screen when the lady that worked there came up to us and was very annoyed/angry that we did not know that my friend couldn't put a jacket on the check-out table. We did not understand what she said, but she was very rude and aggressive. The store does have a good selection of foods and drinks though and the lady at the Spar to-go was very nice. She did not speak English, but she tried her best to help me and that was appreciated!

The lines were really long and slow. Would've bought more, but cashier couldn't make change for Euros.

Prices are EXTREMELY high and some prices are shocking! Like vajas kifli for 299 Forints. They sell Risks Tejföl at 80% higher price than another Spar at 899 vs 499! See photo. But still better prices than at Prima or Coop! It's why 2 ⭐ and not only one... Today they refused to me to buy 4L of rapeseed oil saying that their rule is to serve 2 bottle max! I shouted at them and mad was public sandal! I left all the stuff there on the cashier belt, 40 Eur value stuff because I am not accepting lol this! But Spar is clean and quality food here and the automatic cashier is superb but didn't give 5 star because we need more automatic cashier stands because lines are huge PRO: THE Best bread in the city is here! In-store made real sourdough bread! And that's relatively cheap
