Csodás hely. A "horthy"-zó 1 csillagosok tanuljanak egy kis történelmet.

Az épületet Dabasi Halász Géza és Győry Sándor építészmérnökök tervezték. 1940-n szentelték fel. Névadásával az elszakított területek egy részének 1938-1940 közötti visszatérését örökítették meg. Vitéz nagybányai Horthy Miklós kormányzó mellszobrát a Hazatérés temploma alapkőletétele és az első bécsi döntés 75. évfordulóján avatták újra.

Sajnos, egy temetésen kellett részt vennünk, ami sosem kellemes élmény. Ennek ellenére a templom tetszett az egyszerű faborításokkal. Érdekes volt a sok zászló és címer is. A tiszteletes úr (ifj. Hegedűs Lóránt) fantasztikus, igazán személyes és szívhezszóló beszédet mondott. Sőt, az "általános" rész is kifejezetten érdekes és figyelmre érdemes volt. A szertartás után is kedvesen, közvetlenül viselkedett, támogatta a hozzátartozókat.

Megnyugtató hangulatot áraszt. Sosem hallottam ilyen szép, személyes esküvői áldást Megelevenedik a magyar történelem.

A beautiful reformed church. The Bishop of Hungary (Dr. Hegedűs Lóránt püspök) used to preach here. Nowadays his son (Ifj. Hegedűs Lórántn )preaches here every Sunday from 10:00. Bible study is every Thursday from 18:00. A very nice church to go to every Sunday.

A mellette lévő katakomba színházban lép fel nem először a nagy fiam, egy zenés szindarabot adtak, S adnak elő. Klassz hely!

A Szabadság tér eklektikus palotái között foglal helyet egy egyszerű homlokzatú, Bauhaus jellegű bérház, amelyről csak a toronyszerűen kialakított, órával ellátott tetőről ég felé nyúló csillag árulja el, hogy református templom, a Hazatérés temploma.
