An absolute labyrinth of corridors, pools, saunas, steam rooms, chambers, even a hospital. It was pretty wild. Went for the full whack: day's use of the spa which I enjoyed for an hour before having a three minute ice bath preceded by breath work and techniques that were well explained and calm and pleasant. The beer spa after the event was a brilliant end to a different and wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.

I highly encourage visitors to try a thermal spa while in Budapest. There are a variety of options. Lukacs Thermal Spa is a less touristy choice on the Buda side of the city. It has been around for more than a century. New to the facility is Beer Spa. O.K., it's a bit gimmicky, but if you want a different experience, you really need to try it out. It's good clean, beer fun! Each pod area has two wooden baths with seats inside at either end. After filling them with water, they sprinkle in the ingredients for beer into the water for you to soak in. So no, you're not soaking in beer, just in the ingredients. In between the beds is a tap system with beer and water (not sure why water needs to be in there, you can have that after you leave). They will provide you a pack of pretzel sticks too. Tip: Ask for two more bags. They are free. You get to soak in the tubs for about 45 minutes. There is screening around each pod providing a semi-private environment. I would recommend you buy the passes that allows you to use the regular thermal spas and pools after you are done. There are full locker rooms that are available. Amazing place to relax! The atmosphere is cozy, everything is clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend — I would definitely come back again!

The BeerSpa in Budapest was such a unique and unforgettable experience! We enjoyed it to the fullest from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun at the same time, and the whole concept is something you have to try at least once. The staff were attentive and very kind, making sure we felt comfortable throughout. I 100% recommend it—definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

The beer spa was THE PERFECT way to end our last day in Budapest. We rocked up without buying in advance hoping we’d get lucky and we did indeed! Antonia and the boss in charge were super lovely. They accommodated our last minute booking and made the experience such a lovely way to end our holiday. The beer spa is a must try! Go between 1-3pm, they have a 20% promo and hopefully this promo last! Fantastic day spent with fantastic friends made at the spa.
