It's a specious place, but machines are old, half of the air condition units are broken, the other half they turn on only when it's very hot (above 25-26) and the wifi is mulfunctioning. I trained there for a month and nothing was fixed during that time.

What my fellow travelling powerlifters want to know: three squat racks only one of which has safeties, weightbelts available, not too many people on a Saturday afternoon, costs about 7€ (2500 HF) for a day pass and you can pay by card. Also, the music isn't awful, unlike most gyms- "last resort" was played. Downside is the lack of chin up bar and the lack of safeties. People can die from benching without those, I do not get why a gym doesn't have them!

If you are looking for an OG old school gym where people come to workout and nothing else this is your place. The basement is reserved for competitive power lifters. The ground floor has cardio machines and the upper floor is a mix of free weights and machines. As I mentioned this gym is perfect if you want a serious workout but if are looking for a fancy place look somewhere else

Friendly staff and good equipment, lots of cardio, and machines and dumbbells. I use this gym for powerlifting, they have good weights, and 2 Ohio power bars, as well as a full power rack and a proper bench Edit: They’ve just added a downstairs powerlifting section with huge speakers and squat bar and combo rack. This means there’s more space upstairs for people who want to use machines, and people can be loud downstairs. Definitely the best gym in central Budapest

This is one of the best gyms I’ve seen in Budapest and the price is also reasonable. We bought the morning monthly gym membership for 10490 forints. That allowed us to come in Mon to Fri before 3pm and anytime on the weekends for the 3 weeks we were in town. It was perfect for us. This is one of two gyms that I’m aware of in Budapest that isn’t located downstairs and in a dark dungeon. That alone is reason to workout here. The only thing they can improve on is adding another toilet in the ladies room. The locker room is big, so it doesn’t make sense that there’s only one toilet.
