I came here with my boyfriend because he wanted to try a local restaurant. Guys, I’m not joking-the portions are HUGE, and you will definitely leave full. Everyone was so friendly, and we really enjoyed the meal, especially the tourist menu with beef. Give this place a try!

Absolutely delicious food here and I think the price is very good compared to other prices I have seen in Budapest. The food arrived quickly within 5 minutes. The staff were polite and patient with my limited Hungarian as a tourist, but the labels for the food did have English translations. You can also pay by card.

If you homwstyle Hungarian comfort food at a great price, this is your spot. Cafeteria style setup but hearty good food with favor and lots of it. Its my kind of place. No frills just solid food by a Hungarian family.

I have eaten there for 3 days in a row, the options are a lot, the portions are very big, the food tasted good as well, traditional Hungarian food, and the people are so welcoming even though they spoke a very few English words but they do everything they can to make you satisfied. All of that for a very cheap price.
