The outside sitting area was very pleasant, felt similar to a tropical holiday destination with the hot weather and slight cross wind. The main courses were good but lacked slightly in size and were on the more expensive side. The desserts were very average. Service was friendly but we got an interesting look given to us when asked to split the check two ways.

A warm friendly welcome on a rainy Friday evening, to a well presented restaurant within the hotel and a terrace garden opening on to Andrassy St. The menu is creative, and promised fresh Hungarian dishes. The wine selection is very good as is the wine waiter , I recommend the Furmint from Tokai for a clean crisp white wine. I ordered a steak tartar which was beautifully presented, but all I could taste was ketchup, the homemade pickles were a welcome addition, crunchy and fresh tasting. The pike perch arrived, swamped in sauces and the once crispy skin was submerged and soggy, not like in the photo on Google. Such a shame as the sauces were well made and the dish well cooked, paired well with the wine. The dessert was delicious, the chocolate ganache perfect and beautifully presented. I would revisit but order different dishes, as I believe there is potential for great food. The service was faultless and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The place was surprisingly empty for a friday night, not sure why. Service charge is added to the bill, with an invitation to leave a tip once presented with the card machine. I'm not convinced the staff would benefit from the service charge s

Popped in for quick set lunch. Service was great, food quality was amazing, very fresh ingredients. Not 5 stars as for the price the portions are tiny! We ordered main and dessert, main was very small in comparison to all places we’ve been in Budapest. We left a little hungry.

Each course was full of flavour, thoughtfully presented, and showed real culinary craftsmanship. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout. A wonderful place — we can highly recommend it. 💛
