I have called them about 12-15 times on multiple numbers by now to schedule a test. Either they dont speak english or there is no response 90% of the time. Wonder what kind of a medical facility runs like this.

Female staff at the front desk is nice. Although my Hungarian is poor, they try to solve my medical issue. Doctors are generally nice too. Unfortunately, some of them and most nurses do not speak English, but here is Hungary, so it's up to your hardwork for the language whether you can enjoy your life here or not.

The few interactions I have had at BLESZ have exceeded my expectations. I went in with a glass sliver in my foot and less than 45 minutes later I was walking out with my situation resolved. If you don’t speak, Hungarian, I would suggest bringing a Hungarian friend with you. With B1 level Hungarian, I was able to get along fine and only needed to use Google Translate for a few technical terms. The service is quick, efficient, and the people are kind(ish). A smile, a laugh and being polite goes a long way. Having experienced similar services in Canada, I have always found the service in Hungary to be much quicker, and with the final solution being the same. Having 48 years experience in the Canadian medical system and five in the Hungarian medical system; my opinion is that I would prefer the speed of Hungary over and shiny new environment that is slower in Canada.

Good medical center. The staff and the Doctors are kind and helpful.

The service they give to anyone who is not Hungarian is appalling. They treat you with contempt and total indifference to your needs. I went to the doctor at the established open time, but they refused me access to the emergency room even though I had a European health card. There were two very rude women at reception (they laughed that we were Spanish) and they didn't give me any solutions, they simply told me that they couldn't attend me. Don't make an effort to get cross-border prescriptions, because in this country, even though it is a member of the European Union, it is clear that they don't follow the rules imposed and impose their own rules for their own benefit.
