This place is a scam. It is a total disappointment, it is not like on the picture they advertised. We booked a kingsize bed for two adults and a 4 year old and we got two bed with two bedding what was dirty with full of hair and different types of hair. They did not tidy the room. There was used condom wrap under the bed and who else know what kind of rubbishes here. We we wanted to cancel this acckmodatiin and they say it is what it is they won't refund any money back. This is not a 3 stars accomodation. Find another place it is too bad

We were ROBBED in our room and the hotel took no responsibility. You can look up the reviews of this hotel (also named Sous44) When we came back to the hotel on August 22 around 5 PM, our room door was closed but unlocked, and the electricity card had been removed. The garbage bag had also been taken out. After checking our belongings, we realized that $500 in cash had been stolen from our room. We reported the theft to the Budapest police. The hotel manager was extremely rude, unhelpful and accusatory towards us. Instead of trying to help, she basically treated us as if we were responsible and left without giving us any solution. The receptionist was much nicer and tried to help, but there was ultimately no response from the hotel. The area around the hotel also felt very dangerous, with a lot of drug addicts and people openly using drugs in the streets. Terrible experience. We were robbed and the hotel simply did not take responsibility. I would not recommend this place. DO NOT GO HERE.

The front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful, which was wonderful. However, there were several hairs on the bed, so those who are particularly sensitive to cleanliness may want to be aware of this. The location is very convenient, with a train station and a supermarket nearby. However, the surrounding area did not feel very safe at night. I was actually followed by a suspicious person all the way to the hotel entrance. I would recommend that women avoid walking around alone at night in this area.

The place was dirty, they didn't change our towels during our entire stay and they didn't refill our soap. WORST THING OF ALL: during our second night the power went out, we asked the receptionist what had happened and she simply told us to wait and that she'd let us know if anything changed. After one hour of silence my husband and I went back to the front desk and she told us she didn't know what happened because she couldn't reach the electric panel. She then proceeded to ask my husband to take and carry a heavy wooden ladder so she could check. She had no clue what to look for so it was my husband who checked the panel. The power came back and we headed back to our room. While we were already getting undressed, she knocked on our door asking my husband to put the ladder back. Picture is attached The next day we went to the front desk to ask for the manager because we wanted to tell them what happened and how unprofessional that was, but the manager was nowhere to be found. We told the guy at the reception if he could pass on the message to the manager, hoping to get at least an apology. The guy said that what had happened wasn't that bad and that the important thing was that no

Very convenient downtown location with helpful staff! Room access was easy and loved the open inner courtyard. Bus and taxi stops were right outside with many late night food and convenience options available. Great place for solo travelers especially!

Stayed as a couple in our mid- to late 30’s. Great central location and we felt safe throughout our stay. We got a good price, so overall it was good value for a two-night stay. The building is old, so it doesn’t have the modern look of newer hotels, but it didn’t smell or feel dirty. The carpet was stained and could do with replacing (I’d read this in other reviews, so brought slippers). The bathroom was dated and the shower was stained but appeared clean. We also found a few hairs on the bedding, although it otherwise felt clean. We left a takeaway container in the room overnight and woke up to ants (Room 108, first floor). Once we removed it, they disappeared, so I don’t think this was the hotel’s fault, just something to be aware of. The mattress was very thin and not the most comfortable, but manageable for two nights. Being central, there was noise from traffic and sirens. The balcony doors opened onto air conditioning units, so we couldn’t get fresh air, and the air con itself was noisy. Door handles were loose, and despite it being non-smoking, we found a cigarette butt under the bed. Overall, it’s a basic hotel that met our needs. If you get a good price and expect sim
