The staff at the currency exchange were awful. I wanted to exchange 500 dollars, but they subjected me to an aggressive interrogation about where I got the money. They refused to explain the reason for the questioning and stated that they wouldn't exchange anything without a document proving the source of the funds even though, by law, exchanges of up to 500 dollars must be processed without even requiring a passport.

I don't know if the reviews are just tourist traps. My experience as today :no direct conversion from euro into dollars. Need to go thrue HUF(on question why-becouse we are in Hungary). Commission is here 0.9%.wirh this, I am getting to situation where even taking money out in US with the bank charges is cheaper. So no deal for me today.

Fixed commission 0.3%, I can see their exchange rate more competitive than others, as I comparison with famous exchange shop in Budapest and as far as I know they don't charge any commission, but still Correct change rates are competitive even add their commission.
