I was drawn by the pictures of the cafe on a blogger. The retro style was awesome. Super perfect place to hide from the afternoon sun. The cafe was quiet, not touristy at all. Their traditional chocolate drink was basically the chocolate at molten state, which was amazingly tasty and rich!

Lovely place for a nice afternoon coffee break. I loved that the place smells like fresh coffee. Variety of drinks to choose, I had an iced cafe late and it was perfect. Very reasonable prices. Would absolutely go there on my next Budapest visit!

I used to visit this café when I lived in Budapest and I was happy that it was still open. I love the ambience, antique furniture and old signs. This store used to belong to a family that manufactured watches and silver jewelry. The food was very tasty, made with fresh veggies and we also liked their drinks. Will be back again!

This is one of those places you wish you had in your town but probably don’t. It’s got class and character and offers a decent selection of cakes and coffee options. It’s not touristy and generally an off the beaten path. Worth a stop if you’re in Budapest for a few days. The sacher cake is one the best I’ve had. But please note. It seems to be run by like, one guy, so service is a bit slow.

Super cute local coffee shop with nice decorations, great coffee and desserts, not far from the touristic area at Buda castle, but far enough to not be crowded. Amazing find.
