Services offer by Europ Assistance are almost completely missing. We bought the traber insurance from Euro Assistance through Generally for many, many years and now it was the first time when we actually needed some assistance. Happily it was not a serious problem, my son sprained his big toe. As I tried to use the insurance to get some assistance, I filled the details of the problem in a web app and was informed that they will call back asap. I was called after a few hours (if you have a serious problem don't wait for them to call back) and an operator asked me the same things I filled in the app. Why do they request that information as you need to repeat it after a few hours ! And they used some app to made the call, although I could hear him perfectly he was not able to hear me and I had to repeat almost every sentence. Finally he called on the phone to complete this useless check as the information was already sent to Europ Assistance through the web app. The conclusion was that they will call back - apparently they tried as I found 2 missed calls but the phone never ringed - I don't know what type of app they are using to make these calls but it looks to be set perfectly so th

They were really quick and helpfull even my van had a serious issue, that couldn't be solved onsite, they did a perfect job to take it to the dealer's workshop.

In 2024, I obtained a BRD card that included travel insurance provided through Europ Assistance. Unfortunately, I experienced an incident where three consecutive flights were canceled. As a result, I had to purchase a replacement ticket myself from the layover airport to my final destination, at a cost of $500. After opening a claim, I was informed that the expense could not be covered because their insurance policy only covers flight delays, not flight cancellations. After dealing with three canceled flights and the significant stress and disruption they caused, I went through even more frustration by spending countless hours completing all the required paperwork and filing complaints, all without any result. I do not recommend this insurance company. In my experience, they were dishonest and unhelpful.

Very bad service, 0 empathy and 0 assistance. They outsource their services to Serbia which greatly complicates the needed assistance. They have 0 proactivity and I have the perception that they just sit in their offices and "wait" their shift to end.

To deal with this company, total time and money waisting. I broke down with my car, when I called the customer service and I told them my problem, they called me back after 2 hours and they informed me, that they sending me a recovery truck but I was told, this service available only for 50 km. Imagine, I broke down 120km from home. If I claim the truck, I have to pay the return route for it as wel, wich is 500 HUF/km. 240-50km=190kmx500=9500HUF !!! I"m just asking, why is this insurance for ? only for 25km from home? This ins.comp. is a joke. For this reason is NIL star !!!!!!!
