Global gyros

Global Gyros brings together Greek, Arabic and Turkish street food in one place. We serve fresh gyros, loaded wraps, special combinations, fries, sauces and cheesy creations with our own twist. Fast, filling and full of flavor — something different from the usual gyros spot in Budapest.

Global gyros is a burger bar or fast-food restaurant in Budapest District VIII. It is listed at Budapest, Corvin köz, 1082, one of the local businesses residents and visitors turn to.

Restaurants in Hungary usually open from around 11:00 until about 22:00, while bars and ruin bars stay open much later from Thursday to Saturday. On weekdays many places serve a napi menü, a fixed-price lunch of soup and a main course, typically from 11:00 to 15:00. Book a table for Friday and Saturday evenings and public holidays. Many bills already include a service charge (usually 10–15%); if not, a tip of around 10% is customary but never compulsory. Many restaurants also accept the SZÉP card, the employer-funded leisure card. Burger bars often take orders online or through delivery apps. Queues are longest at weekday lunchtimes, so ordering ahead saves time.

According to Google, Global gyros keeps these hours: Mon–Sat 9:00–22:00, Sun 9:30–21:00. It is open seven days a week. It opens on Sunday too, as many restaurants and cafés in Hungary do. Expect changes around holidays such as Christmas Eve, Christmas, Easter and 20 August, and call first if you are making a special trip. The listed phone number is +36 20 238 3557. It is shown in international format with the +36 country code, so it works from Hungary and from abroad alike; within Hungary you can also dial 06 instead of +36.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 120 reviews, a score that reflects consistently positive feedback.
