An absolutely fantastic Japanese restaurant! The atmosphere catches your attention the moment you walk in - beautiful white fabric draped from the ceiling, paired with warm, dim lighting that creates a unique and cozy ambiance. The food was excellent, with a great selection of dishes and several clearly marked vegetarian options, which was much appreciated. I also loved the open kitchen concept, where you can watch the chefs at work and get a glimpse of the care that goes into every dish. Amazing vibe, amazing food, and an all-around great dining experience. Highly recommended!

5 stars in every category! Food, service, setting, facilities... a top tier fusion restaurant in the centre of Budapest We had outstanding service all evening by our waitress Alexandra who was equally attentive, friendly & very helpful at making excellent menu suggestions (prime example of a staff member knowing the menu!) The stand-outs for the meal for us were the Tantan Noodles with Wagyu Beef (I've never tasted a dish like this before!) and the Matcha Tiramasu for dessert is also fantastic. The Chix stix were a great starter too. Looking forward to our next visit back in Budapest for this restaurant (have our table ready!)

Hachi was easily one of the best meals we had in Budapest and absolutely deserves to be considered among the top Japanese restaurants in the city. The atmosphere is incredible, great energy, really cool interior design, a view into the kitchen, and even one of the most unique bathroom designs I’ve seen. The whole space feels thoughtful, stylish, and memorable without trying too hard. Service was also outstanding. Dominic took care of us and was genuinely incredible. He guided us toward dishes we probably wouldn’t have ordered on our own, made excellent wine and cocktail recommendations, and really elevated the entire experience. And the food was exceptional. We ordered the roti “hummus,” grilled kimchi, udon with wagyu, and salad, and every single dish was amazing. The roti hummus may have been the star of the show, but honestly it’s hard to choose because everything was that good. This place is special. Hachi deserves to be in the top echelon of Japanese food in Budapest, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, high-level dining experience.

We celebrated our third anniversary at Hachi and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was truly 5-star, the food was incredible, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was chill but still had a luxurious feel, which made the evening feel special. The service was quick without ever feeling rushed, and even the toilets were spotless, which is always appreciated. Special thanks to our waitress Blanka, who was so friendly and attentive all evening. Highly recommend Hachi for a special occasion or anyone looking for outstanding food and service in Budapest!

Delicious ramen in Budapest exactly what I was looking for. The soup was rich and full of flavour and you can really tell they pay attention to every detail. The presentation was spot on and the service was brilliant. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
