Best Hungarian food and cheapest

Delicious food, large portions at very good prices. Friendly and helpful service, and understanding customers (they suggested delicious options from the menu). Although the cashiers spoke only limited English, they were happy to help us, and ordering was not a problem. (The photo shows half the portion.)

I eat here very often when I'm visiting Hungary. The food is homely, the staff is welcoming, the prices are amazing. The atmosphere is similar to a fast food restaurant, but with home made food. This can be intimidating at first, but once you see past the mild chaos that surrounds this experience, I'm sure you'll find something that you'll like.

I was looking for something cheap to eat, and this place is amazing. It is not only not expensive but also delicious. And one plate is enough to have a full stomach. I can really recommend this place. Only local people propably know it and go here but it is worth checking out. Thank you for a very good meal! (ps. You can eat here or take away, cash only!)

Good, cheap food! I got the pork stew (sertesporkolt) with rice. Cash only, and bring your tray back up to the counter when you’re done. This is a spot that has mostly locals, but the cashier could speak a bit of English.
