The beer was solid, and the food was good overall (around 4 out of 5). Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by the service and the pub’s policy. We were a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and asked if we could use one extra chair for our bags. We were told this was not allowed because, according to the staff, all seats would be occupied in about 15 minutes. What made this frustrating was that people sitting at nearby tables were already using chairs for their belongings. We even suggested that we would return the chair as soon as new guests arrived, but our request was still refused. During the two hours we spent at the pub, it never became full, and there were plenty of empty chairs available the entire time. What disappointed us the most was not even the refusal itself, but the way it was handled. The explanation was delivered in an unfriendly manner, and no alternative solution was offered (for example, suggesting another place where we could put our belongings). It’s a pity, because the beer is worth visiting for, but the level of hospitality was very disappointing, and unfortunately, we left with no desire to return.

Amazing, hidden place. Food is 10/10, service is very friendly and professional. Great selection of beers on tap that you can taste test before ordering, to make sure you like it. Price/value ratio is very fair.

One of the best place in Budapest for the ones who try to find a "clasic" beerhouse ambiance. Tasty beer, traditional dish, nice people. I strongly recommend!

Wonderful food and staff. We visited a few years ago and had to return on this trip to Budapest. We did have to book the night before as it obviously gets busy. (Because it is so good) It has a really nice atmosphere and staff are attentive. Pricing is reasonable. Thank you again.

I am giving 5 stars even though the food was only 4. The atmosphere is nice, it truly reminds me of Pragu and the servers are kind and swift as well. They have an extensive beer selection, which taste great, the only drawback was the beefcheek, which should have been cooked for an additional hour or so. But overall it was great experience absolutely recommended:)
