I would not recommend this office to foreigners. Even though I have Hungarian citizenship and a premium account, I still received unacceptable treatment, especially when trying to handle basic services such as opening a bank account or resolving issues with a blocked card or account. The brand itself may be fine, but the service at this particular office was very disappointing. As someone who does not speak Hungarian fluently, I felt unwelcome and received poor customer service.

A fiókvezető hölgy volt segìtségemre, amellyel maximálisan meg voltam elégedve. Udvarias, precìz, gyors ügyintézés. A többi dolgozó is készséges volt a korábbiakban, így bátran ajánlom a fiókot. Legjobbak a legjobbak között! ;)

Bank employee forced me to leave the bank simply because I kept my sunglasses on, even though I had already been clearly identified. I have photophobia (sensitivity to light causing eye pain or discomfort), which I explained to him, but even if I didn’t have this condition, the bank’s house rules are still unambiguous on this matter: sunglasses only need to be removed for identification purposes. The written house rules say sunglasses only need to be removed if they make identification difficult, which was not the case. They are not following their own rules. House rules: “Please remove your helmet and sunglasses when entering, and do not wear any clothing that makes your identification difficult or impossible (e.g. baseball cap, mask, scarf wrapped around your face etc.), but also avoid wearing clothing that is incomplete or unkempt.”
